On December 3,  the "2016· Made in China +" cross-border e-commerce industry Summit and the annual ceremony of Baiyanghui kicked off in  Longgang, Shenzhen.

The summit was guided by Shenzhen Longgang Economic Promotion Bureau and hosted by Baiyanhui Cross-border E-commerce Alliance. More than 1,000 cross-border e-commerce sellers, foreign trade practitioners and more than 300 small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises from the Pearl River Delta region gathered together to discuss the future development trend of "Made in China +" cross-border e-commerce, and how the traditional manufacturing industry can successfully transform under the wave of global trade e-commerce.

At the summit, the relevant person in charge of global cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Aliexpress, the experts of the well-known cross-border e-commerce organizations, Baiyanhui, Yinghui, Pengcheng Chamber of Commerce, shared the opportunities and challenges from "Made in China" to "new Made in China brand" to the sea with thousands of business representatives, and taught cross-border e-commerce actual combat "dry goods".

It is understood that with the downturn in the international market in recent years, the economic downturn, the disappearance of the demographic dividend, the increase in production costs and other factors, traditional manufacturing enterprises are facing a severe test.

Where is China"s manufacturing road? While the annual growth of traditional foreign trade is less than 10%, China"s cross-border e-commerce has maintained more than 30% growth year after year. The person in charge of Amazon South China believes that "cross-border e-commerce may be a new model for the development of foreign trade in the manufacturing industry, but also an effective way to expand overseas marketing channels and achieve manufacturing + transformation and upgrading."

Gan Yandao, CEO of Shenzhen Price Chain cross-border E-commerce Co., Ltd. admitted at the forum, "Through the Internet, from commodity display to buyers placing orders, payment and then to sellers shipping, enterprises and individuals use email and instant chat tools to communicate with domestic and foreign buyers and sellers, and trade through the network is gradually becoming a trend."

The participants agreed that cross-border e-commerce has shown a huge blue ocean market to global smes. With the continuous innovation and development of cross-border platforms, small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises will surely seize the golden time, seize the new opportunities of global trade, quickly open overseas markets, and create international brands.

During the summit, the organizers also organized a product matchmaking meeting between nearly 100 manufacturing enterprises and cross-border e-commerce sellers. The supply and marketing display products involve LED lights, sports DV, Bluetooth speakers, consumer electronic video and audio products and other popular products on Amazon and other platforms. The whole event has achieved unexpected good results, and both parties have obtained satisfactory results.
